Passenger Princess… or Something Else?
Share
Let’s talk about it.
You’ve probably heard the term “passenger princess.”
She’s along for the ride.
Sitting pretty.
Enjoying the day.
Nothing wrong with that.
But if you’re here…
I have a feeling that’s not you.
You’re Not Just Along for the Ride
You’re the one who:
• Packs the gear
• Knows where things are
• Handles the lines
• Baits your own hook
• Figures it out when things get messy
You don’t just go fishing.
You fish.
And there’s a big difference.
The Reality No One Talks About
Most of us didn’t grow up with perfectly curated fishing experiences.
We figured it out.
Sometimes with help.
Sometimes without.
Sometimes doing it wrong first.
But we kept going.
Because there’s something about being out there…
that just feels right.
And Also… You Still Have a Life
You’re not out there every day.
You’ve got:
• A job
• A family
• Responsibilities
• A million other things competing for your time
So when you do get out on the water…
It matters.
This Is Who True Fishing Gear Is For
Not the girl sitting on the cooler for the photo.
The one actually fishing.
The one balancing real life and still making time for what she loves.
The one who might not go every day…
but shows up ready when she does.
A Quick Thought
Next time you’re out there…
Look around.
You’ll see both.
And you’ll know exactly which one you are.
Before You Go…
I’m curious:
👉 Were you always hands-on when it came to fishing…
or did you grow into it over time?
